Day 1 (Wednesday): Delhi

  • The tour commences in the evening with a ceremonial welcome onboard the Palace on Wheels at Delhi Cantonment Railway Station.
  • At 1745 Hours the royal train departs from the Railway Station.
  • Enjoy your stay in the deluxe saloons and interact with fellow travelers. In case of any requirement you can call the attendant.
  • Relish the delicacies served in the dinner.
Day 2 (Thursday): Jaipur
  • At 0000 Hours arrival at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
  • Enjoy a daylong sightseeing tour of this beautiful "Pink City". Prominent attractions in Jaipur are Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, Amber Fort, City Palace and its museum, and Jantar Mantar-the astronomical observatory.
  • Enjoy shopping for authentic local handicrafts, gifts and souvenirs at the State's Handicrafts emporium. 2230 Hours: Departure from Jaipur.
  • In the evening attend a cultural program of dance and music by local artists. The programme will be followed by dinner at Jai Mahal Palace.
  • The train departs from the Pink City at 22.30 hours for Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
Day 3 (Friday): Jaisalmer
  • At 06.15 hours arrival at Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan.
  • Visit prominent attractions of Jaisalmer lik Jaisalmer Fort, Gadsisar Lake, Nathmalji-ki-Haveli, Patwon -ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, and much more.
  • Later in the day enjoy camel safari in the magnificent villages of Jaisalmer.
  • Relish exclusive dinner under the open sky at a campsite along with cultural performances by local artists.
  • 2300 Hours: Departure from this beautiful desert city.
Day 4 (Saturday): Jodhpur
  • At 0800 hours arrival at Jodhpur, Rao Jodha-chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs founded it in 1459 AD.
  • Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Mehrangarh Fort, and other beautiful structures like including the magnificent Jaswant Thada.
  • Lunch in the royal ambience at Umaid Bhawan Palace. Part of the Palace is now residence of the head of the royal family and the rest has been converted into a museum and luxury heritage hotel.
  • At 1530 Hours departure from Jodhpur
Day 5 (Sunday): Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore - Chittorgarh
  • At 0400 hours arrival at Sawai Madhopur.
  • In the morning visit Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore National Park is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger. The park is spread over an area of 392 sq.kms and is home to more than 300 species of birds and animals.
  • At 1100 Hours departure from Ranthambore
  • At 1530 Hour arrival at Chittorgarh, for its glorious fort, located on a 180-meter high hill.
  • Lunch and dinner are served on board the train.
Day 6 (Monday): Udaipur
  • At 0730 Hours arrival at Udaipur, founded by Maharana Udai Singh of Mewar.
  • Enjoy a daylong sight seeing of this beautiful city of lakes. Major attractions here are Lake Pichola, the largest and the most beautiful of Udaipur's lakes, Palaces like Jag Mahal and Jag Niwas, Sahelion Ki Bari, Gulab Bagh (Rose garden) and the 18th century monsoon palace, Sajjangarh
  • Lunch is served at the Lake Palace, a luxury heritage hotel.
  • At 2000 Hours departure from Udaipur.
  • Dinner will be served on board.
Day 7 (Tuesday): Bharatpur - Agra - Delhi
  • At 0600 Hours arrival at Bharatpur
  • Visit the magnificent Keoladeo Ghana National Park, which houses more than 300 species of local and migratory birds; most famous of them all is the Siberian Cranes.
  • At 1030 Hours arrival at Fatehpur Sikri, a medieval Indian city founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is famous for beautiful Mughal structures.
  • At 1500 Hours arrival at Agra, the city of Taj Mahal
  • Visit this magnificent monument of love built by Mughal emperor Shah Jehan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal
  • At 2000 Hours departure from Agra. Palace on Wheels departs for Delhi.
  • At 0740 Hours arrival at Delhi. From here you can board a flight for the omward journey.
